THEME: Triumph
DESCRIPTION: This issue is all about positivity! Celebrating triumphs, both big and small. They want to hear about you – your biggest successes, how they felt – and for those who prefer to write melancholy, write about the obstacles you’ve overcome to reach the happiness or triumph you dream about that hasn’t quite come yet.

2. Fulcrum Review
A literary magazine which focuses on the intersection between science, technology, society, and the arts, publishing quarterly issues and accepting creative writing in any category along with visual art. They’re welcoming submissions for:

THEME: KATHARSIS
DESCRIPTION: Coined in greek philosophy, katharsis is used in dramatic art and tragedy to symbolize the effect that a performance has on the audience. Think emotions on Greek kraters, sacrifical offerings, the purging of emotion, the burden on theatre viewer.

An art and literary magazine with a mission to promote diversity in the world through literature and art by providing an open platform for underrepresented and marginalized voices. They’re welcoming submissions for:

THEME: Pink Bows and Black Boots
DESCRIPTION: Soft and sweet, yet bold and untamed. Pink Bows and Cowboy Boots is where delicate meets daring, and this issue is all about that: contrast. It’s for the ones who love the softness of floral sheets but aren’t afraid to dance in the rain, who sip tea in the morning and chase adventure by sunset.
